Ok, so Donna pulled a Sakura and poof! everything's forgotten. Nice one, RTD, you destroyed my heart!! She was my most favourite companion, WAS THAT REALLY NECESSARY?! It's just cruel!

The deus ex machina to reunite Rose and the a Doctor... it didn't sound right. Was it just to appease the rabid shippers?

Watching Martha and Mickey go with Jack gives me hopes for the next Torchwood season. Which will be only 5 episodes long, ohjoy. <_<


To sum up: I still love this show to pieces and don't really care about plotholes and the likes (I'm really easy to please and can suspend my disbelief for as long as it's needed), I still enjoyed this episode a lot, but WHYYYYYYYYY DOCTORDONNAAAAAAAAA!!! TT______TT

I started reading IY when I was still in high school, in 2000, thanks to some online translations (I had just acquired a modem-- so much time ago!). It was my first real fandom, the reason why I started reading in English everyday and decided I'd start learning Japanese, the series that made me start reading fanfictions (before discovering the wonders of slash XD) and become addicted to internet. I loved it so much ♥ Then it became too monotonous-- full of typical shounen power-up attacks and enemies that did nothing for the development of the plot or the characters. I'd say it went downhill after the Shichinintai's arc (except for the MiroSan moments, it was my OTP XDD). I quickly lost interest, so much that I even stopped buying the manga. And frankly, I don't even care it's ended, tho I'm sure that if I did, I wouldn't have liked this ending XD

Really, Takahashi-sensei can't write a good ending to save her life. I won't go into much detail for fear of spoiling; I'll just say it seemed so rushed, it had no buildup. Just... one chapter they were fighting as usual, the other they weren't anymore and TA-DA! the end. D:

Anyways, it will always hold a little place in my fandom-heart.

I'd been thinking to do a pimping post for this series for a while; I was just waiting for some kind of sign that it was the time... And then, in tonight's episode, RAFFAELLA CARRA' (a very famous tv... soubrette? How are they called in English?) appeared. Now that I've stopped laughing like an idiot (also because this episode was so sad ç_ç), I can finally make it. Italian only.

E poi, nella puntata di ieri sera, ecco che mi fa un'apparizione RAFFAELLA CARRA'. No, davvero, proprio lei, con tanto di canzone! L'idea della Carrà che canta su una nave spaziale in una glassia sperduta perchè è "tipico intrattenimento terrestre retrò" mi ha lasciata basita XDDD Anche alla BBC si fumano roba pesante a quanto pare!

Cmq ho pensato che non potesse essere altro che l'hitsuzen al lavoro!

I spent the whole day sulking at home for no reason, and the result was an angsty fanart!

Actually, I wanted to participate in at least ONE of the seasonal challenges at the kuroxfai comm; I have sketched something for each of them but never managed to finish anything. I'm such a failure...

BUT. This time I did it - and I'll never stop to thank myself for finally buying a tablet. Life is so much easier!

So here it is: my entry for the spring challenge, in which we had to put Kurogane and Fai in another Clamp's manga setting. Naturally, I chose one of the angstiest. I had this sudden epiphany that they needed to be tortured more!! Loosing limbs is not enough.

Despite my trendy polyester collar and assorted bruises, I've gone to work these past two weeks. It being a stage wich I began only one month ago, I kinda have to, if I want to keep it and get paid (if you can call less than 3€ per hour a pay). Granted, it's nothing particulary hard and I just have to sit there making phone calls and translating stuff for 4 hours a day, but still. I feel the strain on my neck and shoulders and get incredibly tired. My back is so stiff!

That's why this long weekend is much, much appreciated. Yay for national holidays! But booo to bad weather, it really sucks having rain all day long. Program for the next three days: get some sleep, watch Gundam 00, watch the new DW episode, read the first book of the Codex Alera series.

Anyways. Today at work I was sending emails from the computer in the chemistry lab (it's a small pharmaceutical firm and that's where they put me, there or at my boss' computer), when a thing occurred to me. So i picked up a pen and doodled, and now I've redone it in PS. I blame it on the ammonia exhalations I had to breathe while in there...

Italian-only post~

Sto chiaramente impazzendo (sarà effetto della botta alla testa?), perchè continuo a pensare di reiscrivermi all'università questo settembre e tentare di prendere una seconda laurea-- lavorando. Per ora faccio un part-time, quindi la cosa mi sembra fattibile, ma spero dopo l'estate di trovare un full... al che probabilmente cambierò idea perchè sarò troppo stanca per pensare di studiare ancora XD Cmq per ora le cose stanno così, e io giro per siti di università leggendo i programmi.

Ora, io ho già ristretto la scelta a due opzioni:

1) economia in Bicocca (visto che abito vicino Milano) - corso in Marketing, Comunicazione Aziendale e Mercati Internazionali; che sarebbe attinente al lavoro che vorrei fare (lavorare negli uffici export) e prevede alcuni esami che ho già dato in Statale;

2) il LISAO a Venezia (aka Lingue e istituzioni economiche e giuridiche dell'Asia Orientale), che è il mio sogno nel cassetto e che non ho potuto frequentare come prima laurea perchè... beh perchè era a Venezia e i miei erano contrari. Il grosso problema con questo è che la parte linguistica (giapponese + cinese come seconda lingua) è pressochè impossibile studiarla da non frequentante, anche se un paio d'anni di giapponese li ho fatti in Statale. Ho visto che ci sono lezioni serali per chi lavora, ma non posso fare Milano-Venezia tutti i giorni, sono più di 3 ore di treno (solo andata)!

CHE FACCIO?! Nessuno di voi conosce gente che studia a Venezia e mi può dire se ho una minima speranza di passare cmq gli esami di lingua da non frequentante? O è meglio che mi arrenda? TT_TT

We've been really really LUCKY, if the man who bumped our car on the motorway had noticed us a second later, I probably wouldn't be here writing now... instead, we're just a bit beaten and have suffered whiplash, but nothing serious. My car is a whole other story tho. I don't think it can be repaired. Ouch.

Anyway. I don't like being all mopey and stuff, so I'm posting a tiiiny bit of crack once again.
I'm back with the Holic-4koma-crossover thingies! The first one was Doctor Who. Now...

It's not only that I don't like them; they also sound a bit off... not what I'd expect from Clamp. It's both too predictable and too creepy. And would negate the "soulmates" thing that's going on in Tsubasa. I WANNA SEE THE CHAPTER WITH MY OWN EYES.

Such a cute chapter!! ♥ Now they really look like family, if you don't count the feeliing of IMPENDING DOOM...

But what does it mean that next chapter is due for JUNE 2nd?! A whole month without it! *cries*
